Trying to define Competitive Catfighting is not as simple as you may think it is. This article takes a good Catfight Face Slap at doing just that. I hope you find it both educational and helpful. The Rules for Production Street-style Competitive Catfighting appear at the end of this article. If you are a Wannabe Debutante Producer, or currently produce Wrestling Femme Fight Features, and want to branch out into Competitive Catfighting For Women, these Rules offer a modicum of a guarantee you will wind up with such a match, and also provide your Catfighters with some much needed protection from injury. So, here goes…
Catfighting itself has several " Cat " egories . Some of The Subject Cat egories are contained within the Catfight category itself, such as: 1 – Glamour , Fantasy, or Scenario Catfighting, with Well Acted Catfighting OR even Genuine Competitive Catfighting within the " Scenario ", the real attraction being… where Nurses are fighting or two school girlz or whatever other fantasy subjects are catfighting; 2 – Fetish Catfighting , where the emphasis may be on " One Specific " Catfight Move or even a Body Part that someone is most entertained with such as Bare Feet, Belly Punching, Nipple Twisting, to even the traditional Basic Catfight Submissions Moves such as Hairpulling, Body Punching, Face Slapping (or face punching if it is an all out fist fight), & Kicking, even Pussy Grabbing as a fetish catfight submissions move could possibly be present . Usually Fetish Catfights "Focus" on a particular move and Spotlight or Feature that move, but may also employ all the fetish moves at one time. Belly punching Vids are the best example of this I can think of. They focus primarily on, well, “Belly Punching.” As previously mentioned, within the Fantasy/Scenario Category… 3 – Glamour Catfighting where Really Beautiful Model Types are doing Scenario or Ring Type Catfights that are often " Advertised As Real Catfighting " which would be a form of False Advertising except that they are easy to spot as not being authentic Catfighting. It is usually quite obvious that these Models hate having their hair and make up discheveled, and if there is any chance at all for action that comes close to being competitive, it is when their make up is spoiled by the Well Acted Action if it is good quality acting, to very poor acted catfighting that won’t fool even a fool. 4 – Camcorder Catfighting , the latest and most prolific format for capturing spontaneous Street Catfighting between genuinely pissed off Girlz going about lives while taking names and kicking ass/booty as the case may be; 5 – Competitive Street-style Rules Catfighting, employs Rules that closely approximate the same fight moves you would expect to see in a spontaneous Girl Fight in the Real World. This genre of fighting is being covered in huge numbers on YouTube and other Internet Outlets in Camcorder or Cell phone cameras. It is also captured on film by Catfight Production companies. Sometimes on rare occasions, you might see some genuine intense competition within one of the other categories I am covering in this article. But that is rare. 6 – Extreme Wrestling Catfights , where there is a sprinkling of Catfight Moves during the match such as a token occasional hair pull or body slap, but mainly employs Wrestling Submissions moves being used to gain a Give/Submission and the win. This is not Classic Catfighting in it’s purest form because it Dilutes The Catfight Submissions Moves employed during most catfights you see in Genuine Street Girl Fights or in Authentic Production Competitive Catfights, and instead uses Wrestling Submissions Moves to obtain Gives. It is Rare when you see Great Catfighting in Extreme Wrestling Matches where you are much more likely to see Great Submissions Wrestling instead. It is Most Often in this category of Femme Fighting that you will see False Advertising by….
Producers (False Advertising Is Rampant In The Glamour Category Too!) that is either Unintentional because they really don’t know what the Dividing Line is between Competitive Catfighting and Authentic Submissions Wrestling, or in worst cases, they are just hoping to produce a Cross Over Fight that might gain them sales from both Submissions Wrestling Fans (who are always satisfied by this type of misnomer where wrestling is present in copious amounts) and Catfight Fans, who are ultimately disappointed by the fact they have just purchased another Wrestling Match. I am also a huge fan of Submissions Wrestling , but that said, Submissions Wrestling Is Definitely Not Catfighting By Any Stretch Of The Imagination… simply because of a few token hair pulls and body slaps being thrown in to the action. Any Producer who knowingly labels a Submissions Wrestling Match as a Catfight, is Misrepresenting Their Femme Fighting Product as something it is not. Perhaps you can tell, but I have a problem with disingenuous advertising by both ignorant and unscrupulous Producers.
The Type of “Submission Rules” Determine What Is A Genuine Competitive Catfight OR NOT :
The Catfight Rules vary greatly from company to company, and very importantly, How The Submission Is Obtained “IS” the Dividing Line between authentic Catfighting and Authentic Submissions Wrestling. So, How are the Submissions Obtained in your Femme Fight Mr. or Mrs. Producer? This Central Question is at the Heart of what makes Competitive Catfighting Different from Submissions Wrestling, and the Mislabeling of Submissions Wrestling as Catfighting has been one of the most difficult Obstacles for Fans Of Authentic Catfighting to overcome when looking to purchase Competitive Street-style Rules Catfights. Competitive Fighting closely approximates the kind of Catfighting you might expect to see if you were actually present when a spontaneous catfight broke out between women at parties, in apartments, sporting events, biker rallies, the beach, etcetera etcetera… I have spent a lifetime trying to define Authentic Catfighting For Producers so that it is Clear what you are purchasing when someone advertises their product as Genuine Catfighting. Anyone taking the time to read this article, Who Wants To Be Obstinate, can call whatever they see whatever they want, but in their minds will know the Real Differences between the different Categories of Femme Fighting after digesting this article. Truthfully , not many companies are Producing Authentic Production Catfights. One of the biggest has quit producing them… Crystalfilms . The Best Production Catfights (not Camcorder Catfights which are accidental in nature) you will see currently on YouTube are being Uploaded by people under different names, but they are all mostly Competitive Matches from the Video Magazine series of Vids Crystalfilms Produced. And at YouTube, they call everything A Catfight. Even Martial Arts, Wrestling, and Boxing in some cases… all pop up under the “Catfight” Tag. The Notorious Boone Brothers VHS Tapes were some of the best Catfight Entertainment ever absconded with by anyone making profit from other people’s efforts and money in total disregard of common decency and copyright laws, and were Originally filmed by Crystalfilms, then bootlegged and slickly marketed under their Drunken Red Neck Boone Bros. Party Personas. Other Producers of Authentic Catfighting worth noting are: ECNWC, Valley Cats (Jen Vs Lynsey in my top 5 catfights of all time), “Homemade Catfights” Denise Vs Fighting Wildcats Marie (in their Inter-Company Queens’ Matches!) and Homemade Havoc’s Line of Competitive catfighting with Fetish Overtones, BSA’s Slapping Catfights (I don’t think they are for sale any longer), DWW’s sometimes genuine Gorgeous Women Submissions Wrestlers/Catfighters (but some could be well acted) catfights, Kamifights out of Russia (being sold by Chaos, Catfight Planet, USA, and ECNWC outlets) that feature really fit attractive Women in Some of the Most Seriously Competitive Matches currently being produced anywhere in the world, Festelle Video out of England (If You Know Which Vids To Purchase), The Queen of The Hood & Felony Fights Producers being marketed by This Will Shock You, and two no longer in business USA Producers by the name of Lisa Catfights and MFFG or Mincsgirlz, and lastly, one no longer in business American Producer of Outstanding Filipino matches called Asian Connection. In all fairness to Camcorder Catfight Aficionados, there are some stellar "CamCorder Catfights" that, By Definition of The Very Fact That They Were Caught Happening On The Street, ARE Competitive Street-style Rules Catfights. Hey even Spontaneous Street Femme Fights generally have Some Unspoken Rules like no eye gouging or biting for example. It is rare when you see Girlz using moves like those… even in Street Fights. The Camcorder Catfights are mostly accidental in nature, and in no way follow the traditional elements of Sexy Apartment Style Catfights which you could say began with Irving Claw’s little 8mm and 16mm Film Featurettes in the 1950’s. Traditional Modern Competitive Production Catfighting can trace their roots directly back to Claw’s mostly well acted Fetish Catfighting Films of that era. The Camcorder Catfights are fist-fighting young girlz caught in the act of street fighting. This is a very different Category of catfighting from what Producers In The Catfight Entertainment Business are making or have made in the past 50 years. All of these other Categories of Catfighting outside of the “Competitive Genre” have "Muddied Up The Water" for the Fans of Authentic Competitive Catfighting, and the result is that much of the "Energy" that would have gone into Authentic Competitive Street-style Rules Catfights by New Producers is being wasted on capturing Camcorder Catfights where the Video Quality is Usually Poor, the Girlz are dressed like they are ready to go "Digging Potatoes IN The Garden", and Goofy Dudes are sticking their various a sundry Digits up in front of the camera Demonstrating What Gang they are affiliated with or that they are a genuine "Homie" or some other such nonsense of "Hamming" it up in front of the View Finder at crucial moments during the action. All these attributes of Camcorder Catfights seriously detract from the quality of the Viewers Enjoyment, but do provide the very important service of providing these under achievers with the “1 Second Of Fame” they so richly deserve for interrupting what might possibly have been Stellar Catfighting footage being shot by an enterprising young Candid Camera Aficionado. Thanks to these ner-do-well scene stealers, we will never know what was in that footage. Every once in a blue moon does the Camcorder Catfight Video Quality approach or even come close to a Production Shoot Catfight. The " Camcorder Catfight " has been a Great Tool for me though in my efforts to Define Real Competitive Catfighting to unscrupulous Producers hawking Submissions Wrestling Matches and Glamour Model Catifighting as being the genuine article… when it is not . These Camcorder Catfights are Femme Fighting I can point to when people who are trying to Advertise their Catfights As " Competitive " with moves you would never see in street fights and Held Back Catfight Submissions Moves Wrestling Matches, and I can state, "That Is What A Real Catfight Looks Like." I have to say that I do enjoy some of the Fetish Moves when it is Not The Sole Focus Or Point Of The Shoot, but is rather some "Spice" added into the Competitive Catfight Mix. But the Submissions Must Be "Catfight Submissions Moves”, and pursued Relentlessly and Aggressively throughout the Match. No holding back or refraining from using the Four Basic Catfight Moves which any Fight that Aspires to being Genuine must have, leaves any such production out of the Competitve Catfight Genre. These Catfight Submissions RULES’ Do’s and Do Not’s also provide a frame work to ensure that what you wind up with is a Competitive Catfight, and offer some protection to the fighters that might otherwise lead to more frequent and possibly serious injuries. Most of the Other Categories of the Femme Fight Scene do not have this problem with Categorization. Freestyle/Olympic/Collegiate or Submissions Wrestling, MMA or Mixed Martial Arts, The Men’s UFC, Boxing, Kickboxing, Judo, Muay Thai, Sumo Wrestling, Karate, any of the other various Martial Arts Genres, or Other Wrestling Genres always Give The Customer what they are wanting to Purchase. Finding Authentic Competitive Production Catfights can be a frustrating Exercise for the Fans of this type of Catfighting. Fans take some chances on things and even with an informed purchase, quite often still find many of the Catfights Advertised as being REAL, are not authentic Competitive Matches or at least NOT very convincing. Some of them are still Enjoyable and Entertaining. They are just not what Competitive Catfight Fans are looking to purchase. This endeavor to Define all the different Genres of Femme Fighting, especially within Catfighting, is a good one to undertake. Hey, the Men have their UFC fights on Spike TV and PPV, while the Competitive Catfight Women Languish waiting for Oxygen or even an enlightened Spike TV to carry some Genuine Competitive Catfighting programs. Maybe one of these days the Male Biased Media Producers in Television and Movies will wake up and smell the perfume of Competitive Catfighting. It is much more aromatic than the Men’s UFC, and way easier on the eyes. At least in my view it is.

BASIC CATFIGHT RULES & Format
(To prevent Serious Injury while keeping the catfighting as authentic as possible) Three *** Asterisks note at bottom of page.
S 1 – The following moves are NOT ALLOWED! : (see Optional Rules @ Page Bottom)
• No biting.***
• No intentional scratching.*** Note: accidental scratching does occur in rough catfighting.
• No eye gouging of any kind allowed.
• No twisting of the arm behind the fighter’s back.
• No bending a single finger back.
• No camel clutches or scissors allowed. (Catfight Submissions, Not Wrestling Submissions)
• No fingers around the throat or any other throat choke holds allowed.***
• No punches, slaps, or blows of any kind to the throat or crotch area allowed.(see S2, 5, pussy grab)
• No closed fist punches to the head or face allowed. (Unless Agreed To Prior To Fight, see below)
• No kicking your opponent while she is on the ground and you are standing allowed. Kicking above the waist is not allowed! (Not A Martial Arts Match, this is Catfighting)
S 2 – The Following Moves ARE Allowed and EXPECTED in order to achieve Catfight Submissions.
• Closed fist punching to any part of the body except the Throat or Head is allowed. (see Optional Rules Below for All Out Fist fighting).
• Hard Full Force Hair Pulling for both Control & Catfight Submissions are allowed and expected.
• Hard, “FULL FORCE” Submissions-Slapping to the Head and Face Expected(See Optional Rules)
• Wrestling moves are allowed except as noted above, but are not allowed to obtain a submission! Use of Catfight Moves To Obtain Submissions and the Win is expected !
• Fetish Moves Allowed – Examples: Pussy Grab; Tit & Nipple Squeezing and Twisting; Verbal Sparring in the form of Trash Talking & Needling are Allowed as a psychological attack.
• Kicking your opponent from the waist down while both Catfighters are standing is allowed.
S 3 – FORMAT : (Size Up Photo: Have the Girlz stand close in several different poses so the fans can Size Them Up before the match begins. Have them dress sexily, & wearing makeup, looking great!)
1. Pre-fight Interview – It is desirable for them to sit Closely Together side by side on a couch and ask them some questions about their Catfight experiences or other fight experience in life. Have them give their Vital Statistics: Height; Weight; Age; & Measurements.
2. The Face Off ! – Before the Fight Begins, have them walk up and get inches from one another in a face off. No laughing or giggling as this is serious competition. Ask them if they understand the rules and give each Catfighter a chance to answer… Yes, back away & start.
3. Post-Fight Interview – Ask appropriate questions. The Winner first, then the Runner Up…
S 4 – OPTIONAL RULES If BOTH Fighters Agree! (Full Up Streestyle Fist Fighting Catfight)
1. Fistfight – Punching allowed to any area except the throat.
2. With the exception of Punching To The Face & The Rest Of The Body, the Other Not Allowed Rules Are Not Legal. Violate them and loose the catfight by default.
3. Wagering – Catfighters may Bet On Themselves & Wager up to ½ of the looser’s purse prior to the match. It is a gutsy display of each Catfighter’s Confidence in their ability to Win.
Notes: In Authentic Competitive Catfighting, no Time Limits Up To The Maximum Length of Time allotted to the match are set. The Match goes until one woman gives up a “Final” Catfight Submission. If the Max Time Limit is 30 minutes, the Catfighter Obtaining the most submissions wins. No Submissions obtained leads to Sudden Death with the Catfighter who Gains the first submission in overtime being the Winner. Stalemates during the match lasting 1 minute without any change in advantage/action require a Restart from the Standing Position.
CONCLUSION : “The Rules Catfighting Guidelines” are designed to allow a basic Real Catfight to occur without the significantly increased risk of injury being present that is associated with Full Up Fist-Fighting Catfights. Additionally, the object of the Event is to provide a minimum length of 15 minutes for each match that can not occur if either of the women become seriously injured and can not continue with the catfight. The above rules are essential and basic to a Real Production Catfighting video and Must Be Agressively Pursued At Every Opportunity as executed by the skill and ferocity of the Catfighters.
